    Hey folks,

This is not the place to put a discussion like dpkg. The purge won't remove the SF confs and db because I hadn't yet written it.

Btw, the new version will include some changes that will prevent deleting the database when an error on starting SF up occurs plus the fix for the deletion of shows.

    Cheers,

The problem is that when eventually there's a problem with the loading of the db and it fails to load any show, when quitting the application it will overwrite the db file, hence erasing any shows records you had.
I am gonna work on a way to avoid this.

    Cheers,
Thanks. I wasn't implying you'd break it, as I realise a bug like this could cause irreparable damage, but if you can somehow work around it and fix it, all the better and some of us would be very happy. If not, then so be it - we'll understand why.

At a glance I would want to know when the next episode is coming out. It's unlikely that I will remember to always cross off the episodes I've watched, so I just want to fire up Series Finale and immediately see what show is airing today or soon, whether I've crossed off the past episodes or not.
This would be a nice feature.

It's happened to me about 8 times over the past few months now.

I started to backup my series.db because of this.
