question= are these icons based on the stock media player widget? if so how did manage to make the widget so big?

this might sound stupid, but i need some help, many people here (qosimo, d4rklar, ... ) share their applications and widgets icons, but really were can i put them, i need to chnage some icons, i already have the icons, i just don't know were to put them to change them, yes i know how to cp, paste, rename... the system files .

almost all the default applications (web, settinds, file manager, app manager, ...) and the sms/calling/email options in the contacts app .
samll things nothing much .

you will find most of them in " Opt/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/hildon " that the size for most App shortcuts. but if you use "BlackPlastic" you can just put your new icons in the right size file and reboot,
