Have you used the stylus for calibration? I did the same thing and recalibrated the screen with my fingers and I total screwed it up. Then I did it again but this time with the stylus and took really care to hit the right spots and it's now as good as out of the box.

Yes I will try with the stylus again although I'm getting used to my current settings. Thanks again everyone!

I think I'd like to do the same thing. Tried the sketch program w/o calibration & lines were centered with the stylus near the sides & after calibration lines appearing to be rendering off center of the stylus tip near the sides & centered in the middle.

I noticed that I need to calibrate by pressing slightly inwards on each dot horizontally to get optimal calibration. The vertical calibration worked fine when centered on each circle.

Oops, I also did the mistake of trying to calibrate screen. Now it's off on the left side and on bottom. Recalibrating by tapping to the right of the left targets works somewhat, but it takes alot of trial and error..

Anyone figure out how to get the defaults back yet?

I'd just like to say that I too noticed that the calibration does not quite work as it is supposed to.

Vertically the calibration dots seem to be in the wrong position; as noted here, tapping nearer the centerline (in my case at the inner ring) is necessary to get the most accurate calibration.

I found the calibration tool on gitorious, seems there was/is an internal nokia bug regarding the corners miscalibration. I managed to build a new tscalibrate copy from the git repository, and tested it on my device. Calibration is now much better.

I'd assume this improved calibration would appear in a firmware upgrade at some point...

Is this a known bug? because I am having hard time to calibrate the screen aswell. Left side is abit inward and the right side is abit on the black to the right..

Open an xterm and run: sudo tscalibrate reset
