Just a hunch: Did you try beefing up you browser cache? (from 5 to 40MB maybe)
i seem to have found automatic works better for me then using the 40mb limit, not sure if there is a limit for automatic, but definitely a noticeable difference in speed for me
But why? You can already view history by swiping from the right, so why not make the backspace onscreen shortcut for going back? instead of history again...
What are you going to use more often? history or back?
Just seems silly I have to open the keyboard to go back on the browser.
