Thanks. Are you building a custom cradle? I was considering replacing my 2DIN head unit with a standard 1DIN and using the space below to build a retracting mount for my 770.

Yes I am bulding a custome cradle. I dont have a radio in my car. it has the spot for the radio empty and is big enough to fit my 770 in it. The concept is to be able to remove the 770 once I get off my car and use it as normal.. once I get in the car I sync it back again in the cradle.

You may want to invest in a cheap head-unit with a line-input. It should be easy to make a mold that takes the power and headphones when you slide in the Nokia tablet. Consider Bondo. I've seen a lot of people in forums use that for custom car installation.

Since the Nokia Navigation Kit includes a car holder with some strange Nokia product name, perhaps they sell the holder separately, too.
I'm using Canola (and Navicore) in the car with this holder and it works really well.
