I can't run it on my aging (but perfectly sized) X40 thinkpad
256 mb of ram, a integrated intel video chipset (open source drivers), 1024x760 and a 1.6ghz centrino.
The n900 is seriously more useful than my X40 running Ubuntu, my X40 is nearly regulated to display/input/storage
While writing this, I was reminded once again why I love Maemo, it's so open. http://wiki.maemo.org/Mer/Releases I may actually have a chance at getting it running. I'll give it a go.
Its so true, I actually found myself tapping my laptop screen trying to start an application.
This is all more mental as I already have been using touch-screen PCs for years and that NEVER happened before. I use the N900 so much more than those that its infecting my mindset.
