Thanks dino, migrating to extra was already in the way before this thread started.
I had already set up a garage project and maemo stars was already accepted for extra repository.
I'm currently learning how to build the package the "nokia way" and how to sign the package in order to upload it to extra.
Since I'm not a debian guru I've found all the process quite hard to understand (i. e. time consuming).
Maemo stars has many bugs (not functioning features) and missing features, those features and bugs were already in the original application, that was more or less abandoned by its author in 2001.
BTW version 0.5 is now ready, but I will delay the release until I wil be able to upload it in the extra repo.
