Hi,
When streaming, ie internet radio, how much of my usage allowance do you think I would use?

So if I was listening to the radio for an hour, or using napster, how many mb's would I be using??

thanks
Paul

Assuming 64kbps, that's 8 kBps, is 8 x 3600 = 28800 kBph, 28800 / 1024 = MBph, so well, about 30 MB per hour with 64 kbps.
Some overhead from the transmission protocol might add an insignificant amount of bytes, too.

I listen to Internet radio with my N900 quite a lot. I usually transfer about 16GB/month because of that.

If you pick the wrong provider it'll cost you an arm and a leg

Ah, well, I only pay 12€/month (+ VAT) for that with Vodafone Spain.
