Very cool. I never noticed this, but that's for a couple reasons re: how I use my email.

Is this annoying bug fixed? If so, how do I apply it? It still happens to me...

Nope - suggest you add your vote to bug #6621 and/or bug #7216.

Having never got the E90 phone working successfully with my email server, N900 is much better even with it's current 'quirks'. Personally my pet hate IS moving everything to trash ... If I have told it to delete - then delete. Confirmation on that delete is optional. It does not bother me at present, but what DOES is not being able to 'select all' so I can delete 500+ emails on mass, with one 'confirm'. I'm using the N900 as a secondary display of emails, everything is on the mail server and so if I do delete by mistake, then I can always pull something back, but on the desktop machine everything is simply archived anyway and nothing gets deleted ( over 10Gb since 1996! )

    So ...
Confirm Delete - not bothered, but an option to remove would be nice ... on the individual email deletes.
Move everything to Trash ... No thanks!
Select all on email list after selecting 'delete' - a big YES.

Now how do I get that as a feature request?

Raise as a bug (enhancement) here, get votes on it, don't hold your breath.

[QUOTE=Tjgib2001;471378]do any of you guys know how to mass delete emails or do you HAVE to click top then delete then, press on each email seperately to highlight them? surely not, or am i missing something? if you have a few hundred emails that could be very time consuming. thanks in advance.[/QUOTE

    From the intray select delete.
Now pres Control A on your keyboard to select all messages.

    Now press delete

I do hate having a maze of different logins for what I consider the same support site! 8651 added, but there SHOULD be an option for 'Feature request' .....

Do you not get the big trash can in the readpane

I quite like that it asks for confirmation.
If I want fast delete I will use the bulk delet options.
