qtirreco already hit the extras-testing...
just installed it and doesn't ask for qtlib anymore
working fine so far
I've noticed some small UI bugs and also sliders in background color dialog and new button dialog with multiple button commands doesn't show up. Eager to see if they get working back again with that new PR.
Can you add some debug information to help me fix my problem?
Irreco works by the way; I can see a list of remotes. Qtirreco doesn't.
For the moment project is iced due the new PR hasn't been released yet, but reason could be that you have devices listed in /etc/lircd.conf that doesn't exists at QtIrreco devices folder /home/user/MyDocs/qtirreco/Devices. Check out those lines and if they match with actual files.
And little info for everyone that I won't be working with this project for long anymore, I'm about to complete my thesis work with it, so the main goal for now is just to get the new version working nice when that PR comes out.

But I had this problem before installing irreco. First thing I installed was qtirreco.
Tried to purge all packages, even removed and purged lirc then reinstalled it.
It really pisses me to see that it's working with everyone but not with me
I have tried everything I can
Anyway, sad to hear that you're leaving the community. Good luck.
