Hello all,

I have a rather simple question for you. To date what always refrain me from buying a N770 was that there is no good solution to input text . So how do you write medium to long emails/notes using your tablet? Do you always carry a mini-keyboard around?

I find the fullscreen thumb keyboard good enough for email and chatting. But that's it. You don't want to write dissertations with the Nokia770. Not even with a mini-keyboard.
It seems like the recent firmware update 2006-39 improved the thumb keyboard a lot.

Hi,

IMHO the N770 isn't meant to input long texts;-)

It's only a relatively slow web terminal.

To input longer text, I'd suggest to either get
a BT keyboard for the 770,
as the USB device connectivity of the 770 is poor,
or get a real notebook;-)

HTH

Ray

BTW: If you 'hear' s.t. like disappointment about the 770 between the lines,
yes that's true.
