I've noticed, but not really been able to pin down exactly when/why, that *sometimes* if an input field is expecting numbers only, you can just use the number/letter keys without doing the blue shift, and it will enter the numbers.

Odd, isn't it? It's almost as if the n900 is doing the right thing for you...
This is also true of the N800 and N810. I think it's some kind of standard trick.

I am honestly curious how low people can get on this forum.

I'm not going to check anything, Setup a Twitter account and rant there. This is a forum. Read your original post, the only reasonable reply to it, if any (as there is no question you're asking or a problem you're asking us to solve, or anything useful at all that you're contributing) is "Yeah, so?".

Alot lower than that. Would you like me to demonstrate?
It seems you only came here to try and create trouble for the members, looking for something to rant about.

So here are two questions for you: did you get used to the spacebar? How long did it take? How abot the top row keys if you have big fingers?

BTW, if you didn't feel that it was a worthy thread, why did you join? Also, your ultimate weapon is to rate this thread 1, so to keep me consistently rated 1.

Yes I did get used to the spacebar quite easily. I don't have big fingers, so the top row isn't a problem for me.

And please don't go all martyrdom troll on us. I'm trying to persuade you to contribute something useful, ask insightful questions instead of rather silly ones, think before starting a new thread (use search, "maybe there is already a similar one and I don't have to be so needy of attention?"), stop with all the confrontational behaviour and we'll all get along fine. If you think this community sucks you can either leave or fix it by starting from yourself.

Thanks for your response. The problem with searches is that it takes more time and there's no guaranteed success. OTOH I do pay attention to the similarity matches and it happened several times that I found what i was looking for.

The N900's spacebar is exactly where I expect a spacebar to be.

My desktop keyboard:

How abot the top row keys if you have big fingers?
I never had trouble with the N810's keyboard, and the N900's has even more space above the top row of keys.
