Is anybody of you able to use nymgo voip on nokia n900? It used to work fine on my old n95, but when i tried to set it up on n900,it keeps giving "call unauthorised" message whenever I try to make any call. I have tried all types of settings but haven't been successful. I have been able to set up pennytel but the voice quality just doesn't make the cut compared to nymgo.

Again...anyone? or any other service providing cheap calls to india configurable on n900?

i am also facing same problem. Tried all available setings but could not use nymgo on n900. Can any one help on it?

You can use actionvoip in europe. its just 0.01 euro per minute to any number in india. this is the cheapest. voice quality is good. i have been using it for 8-9 months nw. For more than 1000 minutes per month.

Setting up sip account is fairly simple. The sip settings are given on actionvoip page. aw here i post them:
To setup sip on ur phone follow these steps:

1:Get an sip account.
2:under settingg-> voip &im accounts click on new.
3:select type sip.
4:Fill in the settings as given below.
SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.actionvoip.com
Proxy server : sip.actionvoip.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your actionvoip username
Password : your actionvoip password
Display name/number : your actionvoip username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.actionvoip.com
5:in advanced sip settings if u click "use for telephone numbers" then option to do an sip call is available directly under individual contacts.
6: keep all the default settings as they are. just change the ones which are empty. click on done.
7: on the desktop click on status bar and set availability to online or busy. only then u can make sip call.

And last but not the least if this helped u click on the thanks button

I have been able to make it work now. The trick is to use username@ata.nymgo.com as the username while making the user account in N900, while in advanced settings, use only your username...and not username@ata.nymgo.com

I don't see Registrar. The first window I see is Address & Pswd.

It doesnt work for me.I dont get it why? Someone please help me here

My settings

Address : sip.actionvoip.com
Password: my password

Advanced settings

Use for telephone numbers- checked

User name: my username
Transport: auto
Outbound proxy: (blank)
Port:5060
Discover public address- checked
Loose routing- unchecked (default)
keep-alive mechanism- auto
keep-alive period- auto
Auto detect STUN- checked

when i sign in with these settings,its tries to sign in then it says Not signed in.Please help
