- i'm in the same boat as you - love to try it - so i pick the odd few from testing. - take a look in the repositories - if an application has been voted well - then you can almost assume it will be safe (8+ I'd say is a good start!)

There is also no problem with you testing and posting bugs if you really have found a bug.

First search these forums for a similar issue. If none has been found - search the bugs pages. If again none has been found - create a new bug, and link to it in here

Hopefully someone will be able to help you
