unplug the usb lead you used to copy images?

when you connect in mass storage mode, the /home/user/MyDocs becomes completly innaccessible from inside the device.
unplug, give tracker a few seconds to identify, scan and thumbnail the images and everything should be back to normal?

if not that, then arghhh dunno how

it was not connected to the system... there is nothing new in the gallery even if my system is not connected...

i think if there is a way to trigger the scan again... it should be able to fix my problem...

another question: how does the phone show the thumbnails... is it the compact version of the actual image which the system creates as thumbnail or is it something coming from the exif information of the images??

I had the same problem, this fixed it:
Code:
tracker-processes -r

For me the killer was my memory card after flashing to PR1.1. That command tracker-processes -r didnt however fix it. What fixed it for me was that I took out the memory card, opened photos application and then it said it was going to update the catalog of pictures, after it had done that I inserted memory card back in and no problems after that.

i had the same exact problem.

$ tracker-processes -r

this fixed the problem. btw this problem of photos app not being able to pick pictures from camera folder or otherwise happened after .51 maemo update.
