So Ive had the n900 for about 4 weeks.. I got the zagg.com full body protection and I love this phone dearly...
3 days of partying later this is all that is left...
At least I got a back up battery and stylus now, haha. Will I be getting a new one? Definitely. This is the best phone I ever had, to bad Nokia's warranty doesn't cover being drunk and reckless lol.
Oh and for the record, no more Crown Royal in 2010, I promise.

oh man that touch screen thing where you hold your finger down and move around the icons...... not a good idea when you are drunk... i once looked at my phone after a party and BOOM all icons was scrambled like eggs
Now that your n900 is destroyed, care to experiment on the remains for the benefit of us all?
Would really like to know how strong the microUSB port is.
Maybe hook up the usb cable and swing it around, or hold the cable and drop the device. That sort of thing (on video if possible). How much stress can it (the female port) take before being separated from the mainboard.

if you are that rough with your phone then you deserve for it to be broken. you are one of the people who make insurance so high!

Im nowhere near that rough with my phone. My n900 is my baby. The n900 in question is already quite dead and obviously outside warranty.
Stress tests are meant to be .... stressful. Though given that he has only one device, it would be better to start with lower intensity tests first and work his way up.
