Could someone please help me setup Nokia Messaging on my N900. its not available i the email settings. also the link provided from the NM website doesnt work as it doesnt have installation for Maemo devices.

There's no nokia messaging for the n900 and maemo.. Only for the n97 and 5800

Late666 is correct.

Maybe later, there will be NM support for the n900...

but the NM site shows that N900 is supported. http://email.nokia.com
also few ppl got it out of the box on their devices... i heard on twitter that for the USA it was on and off.. can anyone confirm this??

there is builtin client on n900 and it is available by network (i think).
also rom could be the reason. i didnt have it on generic rom but it is there with uk rom and works fine.

nokia messagiing is built iinto the N900 by default. setup your accounts on the nokia website then add acount in the email client. Whenit askes for service provider select other, press next and sect nokia messaging

didnt work that way.. apparently few ppl dont get the option of Nokia messaging..

omkar are you sure.

this would have to be on a certain regions f/w right.

surely it can be reflashed to another one

what country are you in. definately works in the uk
