    The standard Nokia 'NSeries' theme is the alpha theme, 'digital nature' is beta and they should both be in opt/usr/share/themes mate,

    Kind Regards,

    D4rKarl,
    hmmm, that is odd!
    I just double checked to make sure I haven't put my foot in my mouth.
    I am using the alpha (N Series) and found the transitions.ini file in hildon-desktop, the only file in that folder actually.
    I have looked under opt/usr/share/themes and only find folders to the themes. Maybe I have mine really screwed up or a different version?
    I know zip about any of this, so please don't get offended, simply confused.

    Stephen

    I AM A TOOL..
    I gust realised I was looking under usr/share/themes/.
    That said, I just checked under opt/usr/share/themes and still the same thing. Should the file be floating in the themes folder loosely and by it's self. Not in a specific theme etc?

    So with all this, should any files be in the hildon-desktop folder?
    D4rKlar, your help is much appreciated.

    I assume these are what you are looking for, standard, white stat area network symbols?

    Hmmm,.
    Looks to me as though they didn't upload correctly. I uploaded the .png files directly, please advise if work or need me to zip them.

    Hey buddy. Your original transitions.ini file is in /usr/share/hildon-desktop. If you replace this one with any modified one, you will have modified transitions for any theme you choose. The only thing is the performance will vary from theme to theme.

    If you only want to modify the transitions of a specific theme, then you need to go into your theme folder and edit the transitions.ini file in /opt/usr/share/themes/YOUR THEME (which is the name of the theme you are using.

    Keep in mind though that if you do that, every time your theme has an update, you will need to go there afterward and re-edit the transitions.ini file.

    Hope this helps!

    Just put the modified transitions.ini here and it will only affect that specifig theme:
    /usr/share/themes/yourthemedirectory/

    If you put your custom transitions.ini under hildon-desktop (or whatever that was) it will affect all themes. That's the only difference of those two locations.

    You don't have to create any index.theme -files etc as someone mentioned before.

    You don't need to go to /opt... since folder /usr/share/theme is symlinked there.

    Following on from the chrome experience yesterday please find attached the Cell Status chromed up as well. Unzip the file to MyDocs and move the contents using;

    Code:
    sudo gainroot
    cp /home/user/MyDocs/cellstatus/* /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon
    Then delete the "cellstatus" folder from MyDocs using;
    Code:
    cd /home/user/MyDocs
    rm -r cellstatus
    Enjoy.

    @Coffee sorry mate, I thought from the above that you were looking for the main Alpha theme file- not the transitions!

    Kind Regards,
