    hi,

yes vodafone had removed picture messaging when i upgraded to my new n900 in January, however i called them yesterday and they told me this service would be available immediately.

I called them back to confirm picture messaging had been added and they confirmed it had.

    Is it worth tripple checking?

    Thanks for your tremendous dedication.

    Owen

btw i can browse the web using my MMS connection, and i always manually connect before starting fmms.

also, for testing, i try to message myself, i assume that is possible?

    thanks, owen

Yes, it's possible - and since you can browse using it settings should be fine. Give Vodafone another call and tell them the MMSC is rejecting you

I can't delete messages in 0.7.2. I get "Failed to delete message" both from Inbox and from viewer.

I have sent you the log (don't know if those actions are logged, but sent it anyway)

    /oxpo

edit: I might add that I have never had any problem with deleting messages before in Inbox

now this was strange. I tried rebooting the phone. After that I could delete sent messages, but not recieved (in Inbox).
Then I was going to try deleting from message, but those messages (that I tried to delete) I wasn't able to open.

It seams that the messages are deleted, but not in the Inbox.

    Hope this helps.

frals, You're a genius! It fixed my problem was with the size of the image (240x180). Now I can see pictures in the full size !
Before I'd used this command, I checked the file "%gconf.xml" in the /var/lib/gconf/apps/fmms. And I saw a useragent is "NokiaN95...." I tried to change this to N97, but nothing happens, and after this I used your command and now I see pictures in the full size !!!

    Thank you very much !

they weren't especially helpful or friendly... as far as they are concerned it's not their problem and I should test my sim in a different phone... great!
