-so far, mostly apps with sounds (media player, canola etc) crashes, and tones/alerts are disbled

yeah for now, i believe v27 is the final one, maybe titan is just fixing the "deinstallation app" which is still buggy.

so far only the sound bug is one common present in the v30. we are almost there. i hope praying helps titan.

Just to share my experience so far with titans kernel, may be of help to some!

At first was using titans ideal settings at 500-800. I was having problems with the dsp when cpu was clocking down with the media player refusing to play videos. After some fiddling with voltages i managed to get it to work but found it slightly unstable.

I decided to give his xlv settings a go and this worked faultlessly up to 950Mhz with 500Mhz minimum. At 1000 i encountered problems when booting, kept freezing on second set of dots (after where boot video plays) :S so went to 950Mhz with no problems.

Would highly reccommend changing the transitions.ini file also, as this made the n900 very fast. This can be found elsewhere on the forums.

However the battery life was bugging me MASSIVE amounts. Had approximately 6 hours use from medium useage so went on a battery saving mission. I did the following mods and have seen a significant increase in battery life (approx 40%). This is the bit that may be useful!

Firstly i installed the simple brightness applet and usually found 2/5 brightness acceptable. App is useful for on the go change of brightness when required.

I found the AutoDisconnect app very useful, disconnecting the 3G connection when not in use.

Also from others advice on the forums changed the minimum frequency to 250Mhz which seems completely stable for me.

I enabled 'ignore nice load' in the kernel settings and changed the 'up threshold' to 95 and sampling rate to 350000. I beleive this means the processor will change frequency less and only under heavy load, increasing battery life.

Very pleased so far and would like to thank titan for the great work.

Just out of interest is anyone else using different govenor settings since setting them has been enabled in settings

Im currently playing with the conservative govenor, so far ive seen no negative effects on performance and its spending much more time at lower freqs (so maybe safer than ondemand) and im seeing the full range of available freqs (500-1000mhz in conky, its too early to tell if there is any effect on battery life yet but i believe it used less than usual over night, (6% drain over 12hours)

These kernels and settings are wicked. Thanks Titan for an amazing job well done
