I´m having problems with the order of the top level icons. They are in a strange order. using the new (PR1.2) ordering function does not help.
Using ver 0.8.2.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Maybe I'll try the version from devel?
Uninstalling the catorize and most of my icons are gone, such as file management, backups and all the programs I have installed.
Even thought about reinstalling to see if catorize hand didst but know how, since creating a shortcut on the desktop manager, it does not open. Creates the shortcut but does nothing, and all the icons that are gone.
Quick question, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find version 0.8.0 or 0.8.1?
I can't seem to find the old .deb and the package overview states that the old versions were cleaned from the repositories. About a week ago I updated to the current 0.8.2 and it seems to conflict with something else I have installed causing hildon-desktop to hover at 5-6% of cpu usage or hildon-thumbnail to hover at 30-35% usage with only Conky running. After uninstalling 0.8.2, Conky showed hildon-desktop dropping back to at most 1-2% and hildon-thumbnail to nothing. I miss the clean menus of Catorise and currently it would be easier for me to revert to an older version rather than finding the other conflicting program(s). Thanks in advance.

It seems unlikely that it's anything to do with Catorise. The menu generation code hasn't changed for ages (just performance improvements for reading package lists and heuristics for picking up Ovi apps).
So I'm not sure downgrading Catorise would help. Does it persist even after a reboot?
When you say "Catorise does nothing"; can you explain - exactly - the symptoms you'd seen; whether they were reproducible; whether you'd customised your menu any other way (say using the PR1.2 feature or MyMenu or similar and so on?
