Where does the WebOS Game Manager put its shortcuts? Could this be an instance of #12023?

Could someone send me a .desktop file that it creates? I've no Pre games to test with (I'm assuming that they should go into Games ;-))

    Where are the .desktop located?
    /usr/share/applications/hildon
    or
    /home/user/.local/usr/share/applications/hildon

If it is the second case, then it's due to the bug mentioned earlier.

    Yep, that's the problem.

Until that bug is fixed in Catorise or WebOS App Manager changes to create desktop files in /usr/share/applications/hildon you can just simply move the files to that directory.

One thing which WebOS ... Manager should do is to add Categories=Game; to the .desktop files. However, I could also add support for the X-Maemo-Category it is using (despite there being a perfectly cromulent standard already)

No idea about CatoriseGUI as I dunno who wrote it, never used it and they've never been in touch.

If you edit /opt/catorise/catorise.menu you can put anything you want in _root (to have it appear at the top-level) or in other. The format is pretty trivial :-)
