    I also noticed that the front cam had been updated, since the green field is now gone.

    One more thing i noticed but forgot to mention in my previos post was that for some reason, my fam guy episodes suddenly worked.

    Before i would just get audio and no video, but thats all in the past now i guess

    After it i had 55mb free - so lost about 7/8mb.

    There are many posts on here about cleaning the rootfs - but i went from 30mb to 62mb by doing a few simple steps
    • Disable extras-testing and extras-dev catalogues
    • <Reboot>
    • Go into X-Terminal (You need the root access app - rootsh - to continue this part)
    Code:
    Sudo Gainroot
    <enter>
    Code:
    apt-get install pymaemo-optify
    <enter>
    Code:
    apt-get clean
    Reboot

    Check your rootfs space again
    you are my new hero...followed your instructions above and went from 47mb free to 63mb free....thanks Monkey

    I'm afraid we have to wait another decade till PR1.2 is released.

    or do it thru PC Suite, but be careful cuz it remove the icons of all ur installed applications.
    Just in case, do a backup of ur files, images, contacts,...

    I did the previous update.

    Nevermind, now I can see the PR1.1 update Downloading....
    (Backup done)

    Can't wait for the Exchange 2003 support

    Apparently after the update, all the notification lights are turned back on, go back into Settings>Notification Light and turn off the ones you don't want. The one specifically you are referring to is Device On

    Hum... I have 53.0M free in rootfs after the update, which I did the hard way (flash). I did move apt-cache because I first tried to update via apt because the obvious way didn't work. The 53 megs are there even after I restored most of the programs with the backup-app I had before the flash.

    That is all.

    Funnily enough, it told me i dont have enough battery for the update lol! even tho i was at about 60% charge! So i plugged into a PC, via USB and now its updating.
