Dissapointed with nokia and whole maemo experience
I've personally read over a dozen posts, if not more, listing causes for issues, and as many resolutions, in the multiple threads about the update(s). Do none of those help?

You can update using both of those. I updated via the exclamation mark but it's up to you.

Retry - either your network connection is problematic or the server is overloaded.

hi there i cant update via OTA it says "to update your device to this version of the operating system you must use the nokia software update application on your pc, connect the device to your pc via usb cable and launch the application."
and when i try to update via NSU it says i already have latest update so what do i do?

That's all apt-get update does. Are you sue you weren't running apt-get upgrade before?

i can't update the firmware version and tutorial. the tutorial update said it's having conflict with application packages: maemo 5 (1.2009.44-1.002). the fw keeps on asking me to create a back up even i already have one. it's also requiring me to do the update via pc sync than the usual over the air. i downloaded the software updater on my computer but it's telling me that the os is not supported w/c is a windows 7 (32 bit)...

any ideas how can i update my phone?
