Internal Error: Application Contacts Closed

Is anyone else seeing this error. i have about 700 contacts. I updated to the latest firmware on Fri. It worked well all weekend. Then I switched off for a couple of hrs on a plane. When I switched on again it was giving this error.
I tried reflashing the firmware to no avail. I will try reflashing the eMMc but this is now the second time I am having to do this.

Update: Reflashing the eMMc appears to have worked.

It seems it would be a good idea ro reflash the eMMc after the firmware update.

I am getting this message as well. it appears to be intermittent, but it worries me, as it might be a sign for something more serious. I didn't try any tricks and it would go off eventually, but I am getting it on regular basis over a 2 weeks periods. BTW I am also with the latest firmware and eMMC. Thougth it worths sharing the experience.

im getting this error when im tapping "find Duplicate Contacts" (contacts merger installed).

i tried rebooting, un-installing and re-installing the app but still got the error. please help.

i think i am facing this problem only when i put a fake cheap battery. do you have those batteries instead of the genuine one?

I too am getting this dreaded error and I do not want to flash, it is pointless to flash for some application error and one need to again configure the system to your liking.

well, i removed all the extra addons like duplicate, extended search and now the error is gone.

would try to install them one by one and see which one is the culprit...

I had the same issue today.

I removed extended search and now the problem is gone.

I still have find duplicate contacts installed

i could even reinstall extended contacts search and the contacts worked again.

Yep. I also removed the Extended Contacts search plug-in and it stopped the app from crashing. Thanks!
