I think we should wait and see what next week brings. If there is no indication that software with similar features as Ovi Maps 3.03 will come to the N900, somebody should create a Facebook group or so... But I don't like all this complaining about Nokia without knowing what's actually going on.
Hate this kind of silence, 500euro device with GPS a no useful software inside, no info when we'll get it or if at all
Let's face it people, Sygic is on its way to become available in OVI Store, so when it comes out with a price tag on it, it would clearly indicate that we won't see turn-by-turn ovi maps for months.
I'll wait another month or so, and if Nokia's people won't bother themselves to clarify on that matter, I'll sell my N900, simply because it's beta testers who should be paid for their work and not otherwise!
Yes, the N900 is a truly great device, but I feel like it's been already forgotten even though it's a few month old...
It's the lack of info from their side that drives me insane right now
N810 had 13 months of updates. Not sure where you're getting two out of it. And most software, say Skype or Gizmo, didn't get updated since December of 2007 and Diablo came out December of 2008. Nothing since for a device that came out in November of 2007.
It just hit me. Nav on the N810. Does this mean I'll get full Nav packages too in the future?
Just lie to me and say "Yes."
2 tablets out of 3, wimax edition exluded means that it isn't counted as a tablet of its own. and I mentioned 770 & N800, wonder where did the (third) N810 go.
I suspect rather than bring these new pieces to Maemo 5 they may well target maemo 6. Now if the N900 gets upgraded to M6 that's perfect all around -- I'd regard it as the best solution even as an end user even it means waiting much of the year.
