Default [N8x0 / N900] Jokosher Multitrack Studio

Although the software talks to ALSA, I don't know how to "enable" emulation in the SDK for it to talk to the actual box to at least test audio. I'm guessing it would probably work in the actual device, though.

The programs make heavy use of Glade, and as I understand Glade isn't part of Maemo, I'm not sure how useful this effort might be in the first place. Is this the case?

Nokia-N900-51-1:~# apt-cache search glade
libaccounts-glade - Accounts support libraries for Glade
libglade2-0 - Library to load .glade files at runtime
python-glade2 - GTK+ bindings: Glade support

Yo man! hook us up!

Making a small screen friendly interface for Jokosher is currently on my todo list (along with many other things).

The only additional thing that needs packaging now is python-xdg which should be trivial, all the other dependencies are already in extras-devel.

Any progress on this?

The main problem i have with Jokosher on the PC right now is the huge latency between recording and playback.

If this is not possible to remove on PC, then it's not going to be a useful thing for n900

Hell, we would do better with a CLI recorder.
