3G is a lot more than just an antenna and a sim card.
however, I reckon you could take a wimax-enabled n810 and replace the wimax module with a GPRS/3G module, if you could find one physically and electrically compatible.
alternatively simply use a bluetooth connection to a phone, or a mifi, or buy an n900 :-)

Sd 3g is my only idea hack nokia n800 put a 3g antena in the sd put a sim card reader in the sd system code some stuff ad an external power sorce and let er rip.
any ideas pleas reply!!!.
