I recently upgraded from N95-1 to the N900.
I am loving my new phone but I have an issue about backing up my contacts.
On the N95 I had the opportunity to backup (sync) the contacts on my device to (wirelessly from literally anywhere in the world with the use of 3G or WiFi):
- either using Gmail contacts (which always worked flawlessly for me!), or
- thru OVI contacts (which sometimes lost some data).
Therefore I always felt the security that if I lost my phone, or if i had to migrate to another device, I would be able to access my latest contacts backup from any pc and also import them to any other device I would buy
UNFORTUNATELY the N900 does not allow me to sync contacts wirelessly. So I either have to backup them up on the device (which is useless in case the device gets stolen or suffers a major damage), or I have to make sure that I plug it to my pc and back it up every now and then (but will I be able to sync it with other Nokia devices through my PC?).
I REALLY wish I could sync my N900 contacts wirelessly from anywhere, like I could do with the N95!
