Those both sound like great enhancements to me

I got the notice that I was in Natalie Portman mode, but everything else seems the same... EDIT: Ah, ok, for some reason I had to do it twice ... or maybe I missed it the first time or something... EDIT EDIT: It resets after each closing! Too bad!

Anyway, I would really like to see the HildonPannableArea replace the text editor with the skinny little scrollbar.

Just so you know, I've made this my note-taking app of choice. I missed this app on the N900!

Can you add MaePad to Transifex for translation? Finnish translation is currently lagging behind and I would like to update it.

    Great Job thp!

I am not sure if this is possible or not, but can maepad be integrated with the calendar?

A feature that allows notes or to-do-list attached to different days on the calendar.

Thanks for the great app thp.

Is there is no way to share the notes created in maepad with other services like Share on Ovi , Mail or "share Via Service" ?

It would be great if you could add support for the "Share Via Service" option that is found in the photo and Xournal app . That would make Maepad a great tool to create notes and upload into services like Evernote that are already integrated into the N900 . I am already using Maepad as a editor to create notes for consumption by Evernote .

The only workaround at this stage is to export the file for share using another application or by manually emailing the file to the external service

Shall I open up a feature request for this ?
    Thanks,
    rsn

Yes, will do so as soon as I have some time to set everything up.

The calendar does have a "tasks" feature already that you can use for attaching tasks to different days. I don't think the integration can be done in a way that is both non-confusing and usable for the user.

Yes, definitely something that should be added (for Sketch memos for now, we can't export TODOs right now, and I don't know if any of these services supports HTML files, which are generated by the export of the Rich Text memos).

Sketching things and uploading them quickly to Flickr, etc.. seems like a very useful feature to me

How about synchronisation via UbuntuOne or Midgard like Tomboy/Conboy does?
Maybe the Tomboy sync of U1 could be reused so we had a sync between Tomboy back and forth. Just brainstorming a bit.
A look at U1 could definitely be worth the time invested.

I'm glad this was ported over to the N900, maemopad+ was one of my most used apps on my N800. It is working great for me, thanks thp!

The only minor annoyance for me is the haptic feedback when sketching. If that could be turned-off within the application, that would be great. If not, I certainly can live with it, so no big deal.

Also, I hope that the application will support bluetooth keyboard input (if the bluetooth keyboard pairing issue is ever sorted out, that is!).

    Again, great work, thp!
