really in need of help now as i cant even read a text as its saying its full
Re-start the phone this will clear any memory hungry apps, goto More... -> Backup and make a backup to either MMC or your main memory, does not matter which, neither are affected by a firmware re-flash. Your data is then safe (cannot say if texts are saved, I clear my texts regularly and don't remember if they were lost when I last re-flashed) and you can do a re-flash if you wish.
ok just backing up and removing all me music files etc to be on the safe side then will reflash will let u all know how it goes thanks for the help so far
Good to hear it, have you done a full restore from backup and does it still work afterwards?
I only ask because I was wondering if there might have been a problem in the saved backup settings that might get copied back, and for anyone reading this thread in the future.
Is there a way to check all installed packages and show dependencies between them/applications/system? This way it will be easier to identify which packages are not used and can be removed to save rootfs space?
Having some script or app that would do cleanup(or suggest options what package "tree"s can be removed) for you will be even better

BugHunter
If you install/uninstall only through App manager, then this should all get taken care of for you. If you've installed/uninstalled from the command line, then "apt-get autoremove" should clean up any unused dependencies.
As for getting a dependency tree view, I'm not aware of anything to do this.
