As well as the n900's keyboard works for me, it would really boost typing efficiency if one could use text macros.

- They should be defined on a global level in the settings, e.g. set "*br " to auto-expand to "Best regards, "
- One should be able to enter these codes systemwide, into any standard text field.

Is there a Maemo solution that would provide such a function?
