is it okey to update apps from extras-devel?

i have updates but dunno if i should update them? : o is it okay to update?

I update them, its pretty easy to downgrade if it breaks. But of course you should be careful, the usual warnings apply.

downgrade? the whole n900 or the aplication?

That being said, the -devel repos are dangerous, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Refrain from using them unless: you're a dev, you want to break your device, and you don't want our help.
