For the last few days I have been getting package conflict problems when trying to install or upgrade apps ..

For example, on trying to upgrade the Maetronome application, i am getting the following conflict errors:

Code:
Conflict with application packages:
libqt4-mameo5-phonon (4.6.2~git20100128-0maemo1)
libqt4-mameo5-opengl (4.6.2~git20100128-0maemo1)
Any solution for this?

that would work to remove the conflicts and allow you to install what you are trying to.

But just be aware that removing packages , may also remove any existing apps that depend on it, it should generaly show you the list of packages being removed when you type that command.

most times, a re-install of removed apps will bring them back.
