I have been using Firefox since first beta. Really promising browser and I like it more than MicroB. However, it needs more resources than N810 has. If I'm running Canola in the background (and I'm doing that on every bus trip to and from work), it freezes the tablet for some seconds in some cases. Maybe it's the Weave or Adblock running on the background, I don't know but it makes my N810 experience less enjoyable. I would like to switch to some other device but so far I haven't found anything that fits my liking and wallet.

Diablo is pretty much dead.Everybody has moved to Fremantle and N900. Mer is still in same state as it were ~4 months ago (0.16 is the latest release). So, you haven't missed much I guess..

Been away from anything maemo-related and got some catch-up questions that maybe someone who visits this site more frequently could help answering (and to save me from having to search through the site);
1) What is the status on Mer for Diablo?
(Were the drivers ever received, etc)?
2) Is there a Google-Buzz application written or planned for Diablo?
3) Is there a four-square application written or planned for Diablo?
4) Is there a Twitter alternative to Mauko and/or will Mauko for Fremantle be back-ported to Diablo anytime soon?
Thanks in advance.

Witter on the N900 is going great, I would just like to say. All it needs is the ability to save multiple searches and it will do everything I need it to do.
I don't understand Mauko; I pointed out the importance of searching six months or so ago and I haven't seen progress that seems significant to me...

I'm fairly sure I read a comment from the author of Mauko that he is no longer actively developing it.

Check out Witter, a twitter client for N900
http://danielwould.wordpress.com/witter
If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py
This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.
