Buy a N900 now or wait for the Harmattan / MeeGo device?

If my N900 broke today, I would buy a droid.

I really like my N900, it can do anything I want it to.

But so could my N95 8GB. And I didn't have to repartition or install custom kernels to do it.

If for whatever reason I lost mine, I'd buy a new one straight away without thinking about it. It already does so much more than what I expected and with the PR1.2 coming (hopefully soon) it'll fix quite a few things taking it to a new level (based on a "community" changelog). Also meego is known to be running on it for sure either it'll be supported by nokia or the community itself. Also coming with the PR1.2 is Qt 4.6, which means most meego applications will be able to run on maemo5. As someone said before, the N900 is just starting to take off

...and for maaaaaany many more reasons, yeah.. go for it

I need the BT mouse support, Android as a fallback and USB OTG was a big disappointment.

I have been a Tablet user for years and took these things for granted.

I would probably buy the N900 again, but would also consider HTC Desire and Nexus One.

I purchase every two years, so I'm confident I will still find the N900 very useful in December 2011. It fits my requirements perfectly, as I love tweaking and flexibility, plus I don't make many calls and use mobiles for frequent web browsing.
