Nokia didn't even say anything about my socket, just that the front display was cracked but if i paid the 103 dollar repair fee for the front screen then i will be guaranteed that it will be in working condition when i receive it back meaning that the socket will be fixed as well. So basically i lost my warranty thanks to the ******* in the ups store and hopefully ups will pay 100 dollars to repair the phone.
So basically you overreacted and thought Nokia was to blame before you actually knew what was going on?

But hopefully you'll get refunded by UPS and get your phone back working better than ever!

When you're sending a $500 phone you must insure it for $500 with UPS. The standard coverage is $100, but it only costs like 35c per $100 to insure it for a higher value.

Incorrect. There is a known pad detachment (from PCB) issue on the micro USB connector. Failure is completely unrelated to owner use (or abuse).

EDIT: a caveat- it's normal use resulting in the failure.
