    Only in Extras-devel, since it uses Qt 4.6. It's a control panel applet now.

    great i have installed it and i have converted my video but still won't play .. is there a step i don't know about ...

    yes. i have . it works great know . but my phone seem to reboot all the time . so i deleted the app but my boot screen keep coming up.. what can i do to take this off. I always hate that you remove a app and there is always something lingering .. Maybe this is another thread but how can you really delete a app from you phone ..??

    The app doesn't runs anything in background and only modifies one file that is harmless for the system, so your problem is somewhere else, I guess.
    If you want to remove the bootscreen video completely, edit the config file or install BootScreen again and de-select the video. BootScreen doesn't remove the Nokia hands movie, nor the system config files, so that's the expect behavior, nothing lingering from the app itself.
