Bump this topic! I am also looking for a way to do that. If the bookmark window is an HTML file, maybe it could be changed to open the link in the same window.

When you open microb you get the bookmark page, which is great, however is there a tweak to open the bookmark in the same window, and not have to go back to close the bookmark window each time?
And even If you want to open a bookmark again, it's faster to open the bookmark page from the symbol at the bottom left, or with ctrl + B, than going back to the first bookmark window.
