Seriously. Type out a document, save, then reopen to realize it's html.
Huh?
How is this "notes"? How is this useful?
All I want is a simple text editor. Not rich text. Plain text is fine. Where's the difficulty?
It truly boggles. Someone clear this up for me and tell me the logic I have blocked out.

If you go into the Notes app settings, it gives you the choice between 'Plain text' or 'Formatted text'. It boggles that you didn't find that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look at that next.

Another thing about Notes: if you create a note with plain text setting, save and re-open, the program opens it with formatting enabled. Makes no sense at all.
