Hi All

I found the below steps from one of the websites, where it says step by step method to install a regional font into a linux machine, i have tried those steps in my n900 but in vein,

Can some one help me to install the font in my mobile?

How do I install fonts on Linux machines?

Manually download the Manorama.ttf font by clicking on the below link. <Download Font>Copy the font to your Fonts directory (usually /usr/share/fonts). You need to login as the root user to perform this operation.

Rebootthe system.

If you do not have the root permission, please do the following steps.

Copy the Manorama.ttf font to a directory.

Change to that direcroty and run the following commands.

Run ttmkfdir > fonts.dir
Run ttmkfdir > fonts.scale

/usr/X11R6/bin/xset fp+ <font directory>
/usr/X11R6/bin/xset fp rehash
Open the browser and change the character encoding to “User Defined”
