Chancing the default reminder alarm time in calendar

Is there any way to change or remove the 15min default alarm set to all new calendar entries? I don't really never use the calender alarm function, so I would like the default to be that there were no alarm at all.

It is really annoying to have the alarm go off accidentally before some calendar appointment, when I haven't remembered to disable it manually after entering the entry to the calendar.

Good to bring the brainstorm up, I didn't remember that it was there.

But I also thought if someone had found a simple hact to change the default reminder.
