    configuring Mail for Exchange

    It synced in first time then it doesnt sync anymore. I says 'Server Error', after I changed to sync my 1 month of old mails. What I doing wrong here. :S

    Are you actually using "Mail for Exchange" with your gmail account? It doesn't sound like it, and if not then you're in the wrong thread.

    And you're definitely in the wrong thread for Hotmail.

    Syncing with Google Mail is not officially supported (as it doesn't use a standard MfE protocol).

    If it synced once then this has nothing to do with it.

    Ok, so I can't make any use of Gmail with MfE? But I could sync my 3 days old mail with MfE from my Gmail account but when I try to sync all my emails or 2 weeks old emails, the error message pops out.

    Can you please shoot me the link where I can dig for syncing my Hotmail?

    Well, you can try but you're pretty much on your own with any errors that come up. Some people have it working fine, others have issues.

    I don't know - try clicking the "Power Search" button at the top of the menu on the right and entering "Hotmail". If there's nothing that seems relevant, start a new thread.
