Hi everyone im going to croatia soon on hols im taking my n900 on vodafone with me so i can use sygic and vodafone passport so i can use my inclusive minutes. Whats the best way to disconnect the phone from roaming so it doesnt search for emails and wont be able to go on the internet as this is pretty expensive. i dont want to delete my settings and obviously need my sim card.

Settings -> Phone -> Data Roaming

Also, if you don't mind swapping SIM cards, consider getting a prepaid internet only SIM which can be bought for a decent price (and it's not a loss if you toss them after you leave). Check coverage if you're staying on islands or remote areas.
