I've had my N900 flashed after the device drive corrupted. However I dont have any of the standard ringtones and sounds. Everything under the folder Nokia N900 (which I believe is the MyDocs folder) is missing.

Any ideas? Where can I recover this stuff from?

If you only reflashed the OS, MyDocs should remain untouched. To restore the eMMC (which contains MyDocs) to the original state see here.

Be aware that if you reflash the MMC, you'll lose all of your conversations, files and contacts. Make sure you transfer anything valuable off the phone first.

hmmm not sure the nokia repair center flashed it and said the whole phone was done. I suspect it was just the OS then.

I can't seem to flash it at home. Maybe it will now the OS has been redone. I'll try again later. Thanks.

I have a back up so should be able to recover everything again.

It should be possible to flash the eMMC in windows I think - you just need to press U button and plug in USB cable.

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that any backups done on-device are also erased by reflashing the MMC, so you'll lose them too if you don't copy them off the device first.

This is all I get from CMD when I run the flasher for EMMC.

RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin: %m

Any ideas?

Make sure the file is in the directory you're running flasher from, and maybe try renaming the file to something shorter - the long names can run into limitations in Windows.
