Yeah, 1150 was definitely too much. Figured the more power I give it, the better things will run. 850 and it ran fine for ages. The battery didn't last long enough to get me to a save point though so I have to once again run along the rooftops :s. At least I know I can play it now though so am very happy.

Is there a save state function in this at all?

HLE BIOS does not work in PSX4M and it requires the PSX BIOS presence. Enforcing HLE with -hle option in 0.4.1 simply crashes the emulator.

1150 MHz runs fine and stable for me to run emulators since months.

But unfortunatly i can't see the benefit of speed against the old psx4all.
It feels slightly slower, even with working cycle multiplier.

Oddworlds graphic errors are gone in the new version.

Well whatever the case. Games seem slower and I am unable to load Metal Slug - nor Strider anymore - previously with the ability to select to use schp0001.bin I was able to load Meta Slug and also run strider fine.

Even the loading page for Wipout XL - which used to zip up to 100 is now counting incredibly slow... scratch that its stuck at 33%. This is a game that used to work 100% correctly and fast before.

This version 0.4.2 is running EXTREMELY slow. (EDIT: i mean next to 0.4.1 that is)

I am trying Driver 2 and many others. (Oced to 900Mhz as before)

    in /opt/usr/games i type: ./psx4m -cyclemult 6 -nosound -runcd /home/user/MyDocs/"nameofgame".img

Tried even without the cyclemult and nosound. (just -runcd)

it's like in slowmo (MUCH worse then 0.4.1)

EDIT: Found what the problem was: cyclemult actually made the games slower!

Also, after I removed the cpufreq (something like that) it's now REALY good.

    THANKS SMOKU for the port!

Thats because you have to manually update this - not through repos.
