I connect my general USB joystick to N900 via USB-A to MicroUSB converter. Then i ran the USB hostmode enabler (USB h-e-n) to enumerate and mount this devices. I downloaded Xjoypad (http://members.chello.at/erich.kitzm...wn/xjoypad.zip) for Ubuntu source and recompile it using Maemo SDK into executable. Thats it. I just need to run this executable, run the PSX4All, and my N900 turns into real game console with real game controller instead of using small embedded keyboard.
I just use my SIXAXIS. For those of you who cant compile.
samipower, yeah, i returned to soft render(peteGPU uses GL render which is n900 unsupported,my trying to rewrite it to GLES seems to work but cause emy freeze)
in undefined future HW 3d acceleration wih GLES will be used(i have not a lot of free time to it)
didik.wahyono: you should configure sixaxix to map your joystick to keyboard keys and use they from emu
Keep up the amazing work Bona im just amazed how much you guys do for us with no financial reward or gain!! I really look forward to seeing the improvements when gpu implementation starts rolling out. Hopefully the crashing bug will be something simple haha
Anyways just a little bug report on your latest release. When using the accelerometer controls ive noticed a high drop in performance and i run at 850mhz. The games ive tried are ridge racer and rage racer. I dont use the accel function as i have a gamegripper but thought id let you know
Keep up the great work
