    Ok - followed this:

    Q:"fatal errore check permission of file /home/opt/psx4m/keys"
    A: install rootsh package and open x-terminal
    in x-term write follows

    $ root
    $ mkdir -p /home/opt/psx4m/
    $ chmod 777 /home/opt/psx4m/
    $ rm /home/opt/psx4m/keys
    $ chown user /home/opt/psx4m/

    and restart psx4m-gui

    however when I type the highlighted section I get:

    cannot temove home/opt/psx4m/keys - no such file or directory

    Still plugging away at the this and have hit a brick wall

    Managed to get the key mapper loaded

    Downloaded Tomorrow Never Dies - was an ecm file so I ran the unemc application and put the resulting.bin image in my phone

    I have the correct bios image there as well ( not getting any bios erros )

    I run psx4m and hightlight the .bin file and press start - it just hangs on a black screen.

    Any advice?

    then leave it be... if it doesn't exist then why delete something which isn't there?

    Great progress, just a couple of (boring, i'm afraid) improvements to be made:

    If the 'close gui after launch' option is switched off, t is possible to press start and launch psx4m multiple times. maype put in some sort way that the gui detecgts if psx4m is already running, and asks if you want to stop the current game and load a new one..

    The other thisng is itis not obvious that the frameskip and cycle mult options go beyond 5, maybe add the pseudo scrollbar down the side...

    Oh and it seems you've implemented the 'per game' settings, but i didn't see it mentioned in the changes list on here. Might be worth mentioning it, as there's proably a few people wondering why the second game and so on are now running slower than they did on previous versions...

    it's QT bug =) (Hildon doesn't use scrollbars and qt for maemo doesn't use it)

    not my problem at all(if somebody isn't patient did not tolerate it's their problem)

    i wrote it here:
    http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=2147
    and here:
    http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...x4m-gui/0.4-4/
    i think if package still in devel-repo users should read changelog and forum threads...
