    Damn! that was a suprise Usually I get about 2.4Mbit. I'm in Exeter (mid-devon), a stones throw from no signal at all...

    kinda got one question riding along wid this thread for those who are wid vodafone UK. heard rumors saying that voda's cool about customers going beyond their allowed data allowance. it's that true? cuz i m wid three and they only give me 1GB per month. wid n900, i think there might be a chance i could go beyond that.

    hmm.... i have 5 mbit/s download.... but only the frist 500mb.... after them i get the speedbrake.... 128 kbit/s down.... but i have unlimited traffic.... awesome for the n900

    do the cell phone carriers tell you when they are going to turn hsdpa on when you call them or do you just have to play the waiting game?

    I get averages around 1Mb down and 256Kb up

    I did a test a while ago, I think I got ~5mbps down and ~1mbps up. It would equal roughly 0.625MB/s down and 125KB/s up.

    It's on Three Sweden by the way, and I have a pretty much unlimited data plan(20GB, then I only get 3G speeds until next month).
