I'm trying to move wiimote.config file in mc on my N900 to /usr/bin/ but it keeps comming up with this error: permission denied 13.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

(I'm using the mc app for N900 local)

reboot and try again. Sometimes something is using it.

Dousan, as Ossi says above, sounds like you are not doing it as root?

I have the rootsh installed.

edit: and the openssh client and server, didn't ask for any passw. on install. Did the local access with ssh root@localhost and got this.

You've already typed 'sudo gainroot' to become root.
There's no real need to ssh back into your tablet as the root user now.

i'm so noob hehe ha.

when i do it without sudo gainroot it comes up with the same thing and when i type 'yes' i have to type a passw. but the qwerty wont work? And do i have to type rootme since it did not ask for any passw. when i installed openssh?

edit: i managed to move the file in xterm, but i still want to be able to use the mc on my N900, so the problem is the same

The password is not echoed on screen as that would be a security issue. Just type it in and press enter.
